Abstract:
The Wisconsin Obesity Prevention Initiative (https://www.obesitypreventioninitiative.org/) is the collaborative effort of multidisciplinary team of researchers and practitioners. The team works to improve health by impacting childhood obesity through a multi-faceted approach including community-based participatory research, statewide outreach and dissemination of evidence-based practices, and enhanced public health surveillance. This seminar will showcase selected approaches and results from the first four years of the Initiative.
