Overcoming Addiction: An Integrative Approach – Dinner Panel

PRIDE in Healthcare Out and Ally List
Please consider joining the 2018-2019 OUT or ALLY List, maintained by PRIDE in Healthcare, by completing this Google form.
These lists are resources for LGBTQ+ students and allies to identify individuals who are committed to inclusiveness at UW. Students, faculty, and staff from any health professional program t the UW who wish to publicly advertise their status as a gender/sexual/romantic minority or ally have the option to join the lists. Joining either list indicates a pledge to model attitudes and behaviors that will foster inclusivity in your program. Presences or absence from the OUT LIST and ALLY LIST is a strictly personal decision. There is the option to be listed on the PRIDE in Healthcare bulletin board only, if you are concerned about privacy.
If you believe you are already on the list but are unsure, please feel free to resubmit the form. If you were previously on the list and wish for your name to be removed, please email prideinhealthcare@gmail.com and we will do so promptly. We aim to have lists updated on September 24th.
Mentoring High School Students in Selecting Health Related Fields
UW Health would like to offer the opportunity to each of you to mentor for a Saturday, Health Occupations and Professions Exploration (HOPE) session. Check out the HOPE website! We are now holding Sign-Up for the 2018-2019 academic year and we hope you join us! REMEMBER: You will need to attend one mentor training session in October to be eligible to volunteer for the HOPE sessions, these dates, times and locations are not set but will be emailed to all of those that sign up. Also, you only have to attend ONE HOPE session per academic year, though you may sign-up for multiple sessions. You can sign up HERE. Sign-Up will end at the end of September!
