Camp Health Lead: YMCA Camp St. Croix

Context
Camp St. Croix hosts 250 resident campers per week on the bluffs overlooking the St. Croix River. Our goal is that each of those campers has the best week of their summer by building friendships, feeling a sense of belonging, and developing passion and skills for health activities.

Role
The Camp Health Lead plays a pivotal role in our campers happy and healthy. Under the direction of our Advising Physician, they implement our Health Care plan. They are supported by a Health Assistant.
Responsibilities include medication management, first aid, camper coaching, emergency response, and parent communication.
The Health Lead will join a team of 85 summer staff, all between 18 and 25 years old.

Logistics
The Camp St. Croix summer season begins with Staff Training on 6/3 and concludes on 8/10.
The Camp Health Lead receives room and board for the duration of the summer season, and is compensated with a stipend of $250 per week.
