About the Short Course
Our conference website is now live! Learn more about the 1.5 day short course and its focus on
methods of stakeholder engagement critical to the success of clinical research. Through didactic
and experiential learning activities, you will gain skills to engage stakeholders (e.g., patients,
community members, industry, clinical sites, payers, and government agencies) and use their
input to:
• Increase appeal and clarity of consent forms
• Improve recruitment rates and participant diversity
• Retain participants through the entire study
• Reduce missing data
• Select and measure high priority outcomes
• Develop productive collaborations with healthcare organizations
• Enhance the uptake and real world impact of your research
• Build effective and collaborative research teams
Upon completion of this short course, attendees can expect to enhance the success of their
research proposals, ease the execution of studies, and be better positioned to generate findings
that can have real world impact.
Who Should Attend
Designed for investigators, or research team members (including graduate students) who have
received, or are thinking about applying for, research grants involving stakeholder engagement.
• Cost: $50 registration fee per person or $100 for research teams up to 4
