Caregiving, Practice and Policy: A Discussion of Dementia Care with Former Governor Martin Schreiber

Tuesday, April 3 from 4 to 5:30 pm in Cooper Hall’s Enroth Hall

Former Wisconsin Governor Martin Schreiber is an award-winning crusader for Alzheimer’s caregivers and persons with dementia. His presentations and his book My Two Elaines draw on lessons from his ongoing, decade-plus journey as a caregiver for his wife.

This is a unique opportunity for School of Nursing graduate students, both new providers and researchers, to discuss how to improve practice and policy for older adults and their family caregivers.
