Youth Health Equity Model of Practice (YHEMOP) Summer 2018 Health Equity Fellow Application

As part of YHEMOP, OMH supports the placement of Health Equity Fellows (students enrolled in higher education studies) to assist in meeting the needs of diverse organizations by completing short-term health equity projects.
 
Application Information
The deadline to submit an application to become a Health Equity Fellow is February 19th, 2018.  More information about the program and to access the application, please visit https://www.minorityhealth.hhs.gov/YHEMOP/ . Application requirements include:
  • YHEMOP application with Placement Site rankings
  • Current resume
  • One letter of recommendation
  • Personal statement
Please note once applicants begin the application, their progress will be saved so they do not need to complete the entire application in one sitting.
 
Application Assistance
Should applicants run into problems or have questions regarding the application process, they are encouraged to reach out to the YHEMOP team by emailing OMHYHEMOP@atlasresearch.us. Questions will be answering as quickly as possible!
Matching Process
After all applications are submitted, the YHEMOP team will begin the matching process. Fellows will be notified as to whether they were selected by a placement site to participate in a short (20-minute) interview by March 15. Final notification of a match will be made no later than April 15.
